Career: Quality Assurance Analyst

The career I decided to research was quality assurance analyst. It is an indoor job with a normal amount of noise. Some related jobs are research mechanic, stress analyst, air analyst, and test technician. Some personal and physical qualities needed for the job are aptitude for math and science, work well with others, leadership, aggressiveness to overcome minor obstacles, good judgement on how far to pursue a project, take responsibility for safety and thourghness of work, meet quality standards.

Duties of work
|

Quality assurance analysts develop, apply, and maintain standards; evaluate and process raw materials; test finished product; set-up methods to control quality; plan ways to figure costs; develop steps to find whats wrong; and direct workers.

Skills and Abilities
|
Quality assurance analysts need to be able to use advanced logic and scientific thinking to solve a variety of complex problems; understand and use advanced math and statistics; use personal judgement and known facts to solve problems or process large amounts of information; speak and write clearly and accurately; and use technical terms, math/computer symbols, and complex charts and graphs.
